Congratulations to the three finalists chosen to present a poster at the CINF Reception in Atlanta! The Division judges decided to give each an Award for Scientific Excellence:
Akash Surendran’s poster described “NAMI: Effective visualization of large molecular libraries”;
Esteban Bertsch-Aguilar’s poster addressed the question of “Data-driven critical evaluation of the General Solubility Equation: When is it a valid solubility predictor?”;
Wook Shin’s poster concerned “Physics-Guided Machine Learning for Cold-Adapted Bidomain Enzyme Design.”
If you are a graduate student or post-doc and have submitted a poster abstract for the upcoming fall meeting in Chicago that touches on a topic related to chemical information, you may be eligible for the award. Check out the Division website for detailed requirements and application procedure.
Reminder! Nominations for the Herman Skolnik Award for 2027 are due by June 15, 2026.
