FALL 2026 Scientific Excellence Awards

Congratulations to the two winners selected at the CINF Reception in Chicago! The Division judges decided to give Awards for Scientific Excellence to:

• Karim Malekzadeh’s poster described “Resolving Competing RNA Folds in the SARS-CoV-2 Frameshifting Element”;

• Magdalena Lederbauer’s poster describedf “Mapping materials science: A multi-modal toolbox to curate broad synthesis procedure databases from scientific literature”;

If you are a graduate student or post-doc and have submitted a poster abstract for the upcoming fall meeting in Chicago that touches on a topic related to chemical information, you may be eligible for the award. Check out the Division website for detailed requirements and application procedure.

Reminder! Nominations for the Herman Skolnik Award for 2027 are due by June 15, 2027.
