CINF Scholarship for Scientific Excellence Sponsored by Symyx



At the 237th ACS National Meeting in Salt Lake City, March 22-26, 2009, the Division of Chemical Information (CINF) announced the winners of the CINF-Symyx Scholarship for Scientific Excellence. Five scholarships valued at $1,000 each were awarded at the CINF divisional luncheon by Carmen Nitsche of Symyx to:



The scholarship recipients presented posters of their work at the CINF reception on Sunday evening.


The international scholarship program of CINF is designed to reward graduate and post-graduate students in chemical information and related sciences for scientific excellence and to foster their involvement in CINF. The scholarship program was initiated in 2005 and the awards funded by different organizations are given out at each ACS National Meeting: and scholarship winners receive a year’s complimentary membership in CINF.
